We had the pleasure of some splendid singing last night from Joyce di Donato in a program of lovely songs by Chausson, Copland and Turina, as well some Vivaldi and Gershwin. And all accompanied by the excellent David Zobel.
New Yorkers can catch them in substantially the same program, slightly expanded, at the Rose Theater tomorrow.
And Londoners should watch out for the Wigmore Hall's announcement of its 2008-09 season!
