There is a very good piece here which we should all read if we ever get a little depressed by the direction we imagine we may be going. Once again John Adams combines common sense, clear thinking, and eloquence.
Don't forget that his latest opera, A Flowering Tree, will have its Chicago premiere at COT in May 2008. And we are looking forward to seeing John here next month at the CSO, and in the Fall at the much anticipated appearance of Dr Atomic at Lyric.
